Traffic Advisory: Level 1 (Ground Transportation Level) Traffic Will Be Re-Routed

Beginning Monday, July 30, at 5 a.m., vehicles leaving the terminal on Level 1 (ground transportation level) will be re-routed due to construction activity. Please see map for temporary exit route.

Levels 2 and 3 will not be affected. The Level 1 roadway will return to normal in mid-September.

 

Parking and Traffic Advisory: Changes Affecting Long Term A, Short Term Parking and Rental Car Facility

NASHVILLE – Nashville International Airport (BNA) is advising travelers of changes to the Long Term A parking lot, Short Term Parking Garage and the Consolidated Rental Car facility (CONRAC).

Beginning Tuesday, July 24:

Courtesy shuttles will still provide transit to/from Long Term A and the terminal. These changes do not affect Long Term B, Economy, Valet or BNA Express Park.

Airport Authority Awards Major Construction Contract for Terminal Parking Garage and Office Building; $144 million project a component of ‘BNA Vision’ growth and expansion plan

 

NASHVILLE – The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) Board of Commissioners at the July board meeting awarded Messer Construction Co. the terminal parking garage and airport administrative office building project. The $144 million design-build contract is part of BNA Vision, the Airport Authority’s dynamic growth and expansion plan for Nashville International Airport (BNA).

Construction of the parking garage will begin in early 2019 with an anticipated completion of early 2020. The airport administrative office building will be complete in fall 2020. (more…)

Changes to Terminal Crosswalks

Beginning Wednesday, July 11, Levels 2 and 3 of the terminal access road will go from four crosswalks to two crosswalks between the Terminal and Short Term Parking Garage. Please see map for reference.

Crossing guards will be in place to direct vehicular traffic and pedestrians. This should improve traffic throughput and flow, and pedestrian safety.

Pick-up locations for taxis and limos will change on Monday, July 9. Please refer to the map. Signs will be in place to guide you. Shuttle and rideshare pick-up locations will not change.
