Terminal Garage 1 is the latest BNA Vision project to come online, adding convenience and more parking capacity.

(more…)What Makes BNA’s Terminal Garage 1 So Green?
BNA’s Terminal Garage 1, which opens June 18, was designed and built utilizing Parksmart℠, the world’s only rating system designed to advance sustainable mobility through smarter parking structure design and operation.
“Green” components of Terminal Garage 1 include:
- recycling receptacles
- electric vehicle charging stations
- tire inflation station
- energy efficient lighting programmed to dim when no motion is detected
- a 50,000-gallon cistern for rainwater harvesting and landscape irrigation
- an emphasis on regional labor and regionally sourced materials
- durable design
- and more.
Terminal Garage 2 earned Parksmart Bronze certification in August 2019, making it one of only 35 parking structures in the world and the first in Tennessee to earn this distinction. BNA anticipates receiving Parksmart certification for Terminal Garage 1 in the coming months.

Pedestrian Walkway Is Back
Terminal Lot A has reopened at a rate of $9/day, and the pedestrian walkway to/from the terminal has returned!
Please note that Lot A is a park-and-walk lot (no shuttle service). If you see these pavement markings and signs on the designated walk path, you’ll know you’re on approach to the terminal. The path runs alongside the rental car facility.
Rental Car Service Counters Have Moved
FYI: The rental car service counters at the terminal have moved from Level 1 up to Level 2 — the new North Terminal Wing, past baggage carousel 8 and the United baggage service office. Now open in their new space as of today!
They’ll be there until 2023, when renovation activity in Level 1 is complete. The rental car counters will move back to Level 1 at that time. When they do, the North Wing space on Level 2 will be converted to Baggage Claim space with additional baggage carousels.
