BNA’s Rental Car Facility hasn’t moved, but the pedestrian path has changed. It used to go through the Short Term Garage, which has closed due to demolition that will start soon.
NEW PATH: Exit the terminal on Level 1, turn left, take the sidewalk outside past the Valet Drop-Off area, cross Terminal Drive, and you’re there. A crossing guard will assist you in crossing safely.
A new canopy is under construction that will provide a covered walk to/from the Rental Car Facility and the terminal.
Tomorrow night (Jan. 4), demolition work will begin removing the old exit ramps at CONRAC, the airport’s rental car facility. Newer exit ramps, completed in 2018, are already in service.
NOTE: You may hear nighttime construction noise over the next week, possibly including some loud popping sounds. Rental car facility operations will not be affected by this activity (other than the sights and sounds of construction).
